The Rhein-Nahe Wine Hiking Trail combines hiking and wine enjoyment in the hiking region of Hunsrück-Nahe. The route leads from Kirn to the mouth of the Nahe in Bingen am Rhein through the wine landscapes of the middle and lower Nahe.
Along the way, gentle vineyards, charming wine villages, rock formations, and wide views over the Nahe Valley alternate. Time and again, views open up to the wine regions along the Nahe, while the wooded heights of the Soonwald accompany the path.
The wine hiking trail mostly runs on well-maintained vineyard and agricultural paths and is particularly suitable for pleasure hikers who want to combine nature, landscape, and regional specialties.
Along the route, numerous places invite you to wine tastings, regional cuisine, and small breaks in the wine villages. Additional circular hiking trails allow for extra tours through the wine landscape of the Nahe.
