Enjoy an extraordinary sleeping experience and relax in the new camping pods, on the edge of the former film shooting location "Die andere Heimat" by Edgar Reitz, in the small Hunsrück village of Gehlweiler.

Surrounded by the Soonwald and the Simmerbach Valley, the accommodation in the middle of the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park exudes a true feel-good atmosphere. Expansive deciduous forest areas and breathtaking views of the surrounding Hunsrück landscape make the hearts of nature lovers and those seeking peace beat faster. Just right for unwinding and recovering.

The camping pods are ideal for those traveling with light luggage and serve as an affordable and attractive overnight option for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and those looking for a small vacation in nature. Here, you can recharge your energy. The camping pods are located in an idyllic setting on the edge of the municipality of Gehlweiler and are just a few minutes' walk from the town center.

At the community center of Gehlweiler, there are two food vending machines stocked with regional delicacies. From meat and sausage products to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as the topographic cycling and hiking map of the Hunsrück-Mittelrhein region, which is perfect for planning your next day trip, no wishes are left unfulfilled. Everything can be easily purchased by card or cash.

In almost untouched nature, the stay in the 4.8 m long and 2.4 m wide camping pods becomes an extraordinary experience. A total of up to three people can be accommodated in one of the two camping pods. In the rear area of the accommodation, there are two single beds (each 80 x 200), which provide excellent sleeping comfort after an eventful day. The living area in the front of the camping pod offers ample space with a small seating area consisting of a table and two stools, as well as a bench that can be converted into a third sleeping option. The pods, built in a rustic arch style, are equipped with light, power outlets, and an infrared heater. Additionally, there is a bench available outside to enjoy the wonderful view.

Both shower facilities and separate toilets are located in close proximity to the two camping pods (towels can be provided upon request).

Your car, motorcycle, or bicycle can also be parked nearby.

The price includes made-up beds, use of sanitary facilities, and final cleaning.

The camping pods can be booked with or without breakfast. To round off the holiday experience, the breakfast package can be easily added when booking the overnight stay.
