Our holiday home is located in the old town center of the spa town of Morbach.
It is 400 m from the marketplace, where there are numerous restaurants and cafés, such as the famous "Café Heimat" (Edgar Reitz). Morbach is an impressive hiking paradise, as it lies on the premium long-distance hiking trail Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, but also offers its own dream loops.
Nearby attractions include the castle ruins of Baldenau and Hunolstein, the historic oil mill, the Belginum Archaeology Park, the Hunsrück Wood Museum, and the German Telephone Museum. The internationally renowned energy landscape of Morbach is definitely worth a visit.
Morbach is situated between the touristically attractive cities of Trier, Bernkastel, and Idar-Oberstein.
