General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

for the holiday apartment at the herb garden in the Hunsrück

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the rental of the holiday apartment at the herb garden in the Hunsrück for accommodation as well as all other services provided by the landlord for the guest.

2. Booking and Contract Conclusion

With the booking request, the guest makes a binding offer to the landlord to conclude a rental agreement.
The contract is concluded with the written booking confirmation from the landlord.

The booking can be made in writing, by phone, or electronically (e.g., by email or booking portal).

3. Payment Terms

After the contract is concluded, a deposit of 50% of the total price is to be paid within 14 days.
The remaining amount is due no later than 2 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (less than 2 days before arrival), the total amount is due immediately.

4. Arrival and Departure

The holiday apartment is available to the guest on the day of arrival from 4 PM.
On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 11 AM at the latest.

5. Withdrawal / Cancellation

The guest can withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the trip. The withdrawal must be made in writing.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

• up to 40 days before arrival: free of charge

• up to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the rental price

• after that: 75% of the rental price

The guest retains the right to prove that no or less damage has occurred.

6. Use of the Holiday Apartment

The holiday apartment may only be occupied by the agreed number of persons.
Pets are only allowed after prior agreement.
Parties and events are not permitted.

The guest agrees to treat the accommodation and inventory with care.

7. Liability

The landlord is liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
No liability is assumed for items brought in by the guest.

8. Termination

The landlord can terminate the contract without notice if the guest violates the house rules despite a warning or significantly disturbs other guests.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is stored exclusively for contract processing and is not passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation.

10. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Should individual provisions be or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining regulations remains unaffected.
