Holiday apartment at "Murscher Eselsche"
Welcome to Morshausen – a quiet, idyllic village in the Hunsrück region, located in the heart of the Rhine-Mosel triangle. Situated on a hill with a view over the surrounding villages, Morshausen is about 14 km from the Emmelshausen exit on the A61 motorway. The Moselle, with attractions such as Cochem and the Ehrenburg, can be reached in just 6 km (Brodenbach). The well-known town of Boppard on the Rhine is about 25 km away. Both regions offer numerous sights, such as castles, wineries, and boat trip opportunities. The second longest suspension bridge in Germany, the "Geierlay" in Mörsdorf, is also only 30 km away. Koblenz and Hahn Airport are also easily accessible.
Nature lovers will find the entrance to the two hiking valleys of Ehrbachklamm and Baybachtal in the immediate vicinity of Morshausen. The Schinderhannes-Untermosel cycle path runs right through the village.
Our holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of the village (quiet forest location). The starting point for the dream loop "Murscher Eselsche" is right in front of the house.
Whether you are looking for relaxation or want to be active, it offers you the perfect starting point for walks, hikes, day trips, and bike tours.
With approximately 65 sqm, the ground floor apartment offers enough space for 2 people. It has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa bed (can be used for 2 additional persons upon request), a bathroom with shower/WC, a small hallway with wardrobe, and a covered balcony (loggia). The kitchen inventory includes a ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a milk frother, an oven, a refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffee machine. Additional amenities include satellite TV, radio, and internet access/Wi-Fi. A wall safe, bed linen, and towels are provided. Towels are changed weekly. For stays of at least 14 days, bed linen can be changed upon request. A baby cot and high chair can be provided if needed. Stays of 1-3 nights may be possible for an additional fee after telephone consultation.
Parking is available in the courtyard and in front of the house. A large private sunbathing area with a barbecue area invites you to sunbathe and relax. For the "little ones", there is a children's playground in front of the house. If you bring bicycles, there is a possibility to store them securely.
Please understand that this is a non-smoking apartment, and unfortunately, pets cannot be brought. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
