Gondershausen is located in the southern triangle between the Rhine and Moselle. Both rivers can be reached in 20 minutes. In addition to Koblenz with its inviting old town, you will find plenty of opportunities to hike along historical trails at both rivers. Old castles invite you to linger in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Middle Rhine, and the Loreley attracts visitors. Wine lovers will find plenty to enjoy at any time of year.
The immediate surroundings are especially recommended for hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers. Several Traumschleifen are right at your doorstep, such as the “Rabenlay,” the “Murscher Eselsche,” and the “Upper Baybach Valley,” with more in reachable proximity.
For cycling fans, the Schinderhannes and the Rhine-Moselle cycle paths are easily accessible.
The holiday apartment is located in the old part of the village as an independent building section of a spacious former farmhouse. An old carpentry shop used to be here. In recent years, the premises have been extensively renovated and expanded as part of the village renewal concept. Modern amenities such as a walk-in shower and underfloor heating ensure high comfort. You can purchase excellent baked goods from the local baker just a few minutes' walk away.
