Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge, cancellations between 30-14 days before arrival will incur 50% of the total costs, cancellations within 14 days before arrival will incur 100% of the total costs.

Check-in is possible from 3 PM to 9 PM.
Check-out is possible until 10 AM.

The key handover takes place personally on site or via a key box. You will receive the code in good time before your arrival.

Pets are not allowed!

Washing machine/dryer > Fee of €5.00 per use/device.

Garden sauna: €20.00 / 2 hours of use (not per person!), to be paid in cash and arranged on site.

The Old School with the holiday apartment Bergkristall is located on the connecting road K9, between the villages of Schmissberg and Elchweiler.

Parking spaces for cars on the premises.

Accessibility by bus and train:

• Train stations Idar-Oberstein or Neubrücke/Nahe.
• Transfer to bus line 830.
• Get off at Schmissberg (stop "Hohe Wiese").
• 400 meters walk (downhill) to the Old School (holiday apartment Bergkristall).

The General Terms and Conditions:

The prices include made beds, towels, and kitchen towels upon arrival. Heating, electricity, waste fees, and final cleaning.

To be done by the tenant:

• The rental costs must be paid before arrival (by bank transfer) or at the latest, in cash and by arrangement, upon arrival!
• The cleaning of cooking and eating utensils, cutlery, glasses, and the entire kitchen with electrical appliances.
• The separation and disposal of waste (residual waste > trash can at the house, glass and organic waste > container in the village, cardboard/paper and "yellow bag" to be handed over to the landlord).
• Removal of all brought items (including food and drinks) from the apartment and the property.
• The holiday apartment must be left broom clean!
• Bedding, pillowcases, and duvet covers must be removed.
• The deposit is €75.00 per stay and must be transferred up to 7 days before arrival. For last-minute bookings, the deposit must be paid on site. The refund of the deposit will be made within 10 days, provided the apartment is left in a proper, damage-free condition, to an account you provide or, after cash payment and arrangement, in cash on site.

A cancellation up to 30 days before arrival is free of charge. For both last-minute cancellations and no-shows, 90% of the daily rental price for each day the holiday apartment cannot be rented out otherwise will be charged as a cancellation fee. Travel cancellation insurance is recommended!

Check-in is possible from 3 PM. Check-out must be done by 10 AM at the latest!

Any damages must be compensated by the tenant!
