It awaits you, right in the city center of Bad Sobernheim, centrally located yet quiet, just a few minutes from the train station, the Asklepios Katharina Schroth Clinic, shops, and restaurants, in a listed old Baroque house from 1722, which once belonged to the "HUNTER FROM CHURPFALZ", two lovingly furnished rooms, as well as a holiday apartment.
The price includes all additional costs (except for the visitor's tax, which is waived for seminar participants and business travelers) as well as free use of Wi-Fi.
For shorter or longer stays, as well as for visitors of the Asklepios Katharina Schroth Clinic, there are special rates. Please just ask.
The rooms are located on the first floor, which can be reached via a relatively steep staircase, so you should be mobile. On the same floor, there is a spacious daylight bathroom with a shower-bathtub, double sink, toilet, and bidet for shared use, as well as a counter where you can prepare coffee & tea. A microwave and a small refrigerator are also available. A toaster and egg cooker, as well as sufficient dishes, are also provided, so you can make breakfast or prepare a small meal.
Pets are also welcome by arrangement. However, your pet should get along with the two very friendly household dogs.
Smokers will find suitable spots in the courtyard for their "cigarette" break (smoking is prohibited in the house), such as in our "Utsch Room", a former guard room and later pressing room, which has been designed in rustic hunting style in honor of "the Hunter from Churpfalz".
You are welcome to wash your laundry with us at cost price (the laundry room in the even older barn is really worth seeing) and in summer, you can sit with us or alone in the courtyard, talk, read, drink... Whatever you like.
Heike and Jens, my roommates, are often on-site during the day; they can give you many good tips, and I am usually there in the evenings. So you can almost always approach us immediately if you have something "on your mind". You can get to know many very different regions in a short time. The Middle Rhine with its old castles and mild climate is right at your doorstep, but the Hunsrück with its forest-rich nature parks is also just a few kilometers away. The gemstone city of Idar-Oberstein, the pilgrimage route of St. Hildegard of Bingen, Disibodenberg, and much more can be explored on foot, by bicycle, or by motorcycle/car.
