The holiday apartment is located in the attic of the residential building with three large dormers, 120 m² in size including a balcony facing the lake, completely renovated in 2023/2024. The furnishings are also new, tasteful, and extraordinary. A cozy living room with an integrated dining area, stove, smart TV, and play area invites you to relax. Two bedrooms each with a double bed (180x200) and a bunk bed (90x200) facing the garden ensure a restful night's sleep. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, oven/microwave, and two coffee machines (filter and coffee capsules), bathroom/WC/shower, washing machine and dryer, staircase with wardrobe, and covered balcony.
The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Kastellaun, a medium-sized town, with views of the castle ruins and churches. It is a very quiet residential complex by the lake with little traffic and short paths into nature or the nearby forest. The shared use of the garden with seating and a grill is generally possible. Bicycles can be securely stored in the garden shed. The old town of Kastellaun with a variety of dining and shopping options is nearby, about a 5-minute walk. The bike path from Kastellaun to the Moselle runs right past the apartment, as does a stage of the Saar-Hunsrück Trail, and other dream loops are easily accessible. You will find a large adventure playground within a two-minute walk. The Schinderhannes bike path on the former railway line to Emmelshausen or Simmern, and from there with further options, is just one kilometer away. This bike path also leads to the bike path to Mörsdorf with the fantastic suspension bridge "Geierlay" (10 minutes by car) as well as the animal park in the district of Bell (5 minutes). The Moselle and the Rhine with well-known places like Cochem or Boppard/Oberwesel are only 30 km away. The Deutsches Eck and Koblenz are just 45 km away and offer a nice excursion. Frankfurt Hahn Airport is only 15 minutes away.
