Duchroth, the place of vines and roses, is a local community in the Bad Kreuznach district. It is located in the recreational area of Rheingrafenstein, south of the Hunsrück, between the spa towns of Bad Kreuznach/Bad Münster am Stein and Bad Sobernheim.

The picturesque village is known for its charming atmosphere and has a very beautiful historical circular path with adjacent gardens. The Protestant church with its prominently visible onion tower is also located directly on the circular path and is worth a visit. In the town center, there are still many well-preserved half-timbered houses to see.

In Duchroth, there is a vegetable vendor and several winemakers. In the summer, the Dautermann wine tavern is also open on weekends.

Nestled among surrounding vineyards and at the foot of the 340 m high Gangelsberg, from which you have a breathtaking view of the surroundings, our holiday apartment is an ideal starting point for designated hikes and bike tours through the beautiful nature of the region. They can be reached in just a few minutes.

The Lemberg is also in close proximity. It is a mountain in the Northern Palatinate highlands on the southern bank of the Nahe between the towns of Niederhausen/Nahe, Oberhausen/Nahe, and Feilbingert, on whose territory it lies. With an elevation of 421.3 m above sea level, it is the highest point along the middle and lower course of the Nahe.

In the immediate vicinity, there are many castles such as Ebernburg, Altenbaumburg, and Kauzenburg, as well as the ruins of Montfort Castle and the ruins of the Disibodenberg Monastery in Odernheim am Glan, where Hildegard of Bingen spent part of her life and began her significant works.

Shopping opportunities can be found in the surrounding spa towns of Bad Sobernheim (9 km), Bad Münster am Stein Ebernburg (10 km), or in the beautiful Meisenheim (12.5 km).

There is a bakery in the neighboring Odernheim (4 km).
