Check-in from 3 PM Check-out until 11 AM Directions: From the A1/Reinsfeld: Leave the A1 at the AS-Reinsfeld (132) exit towards Saarburg, Kell. Follow the road towards Saarburg B407. Turn left towards Greimerath K139. After 2.5 km, you will reach Greimerath. From the A8/Merzig: Leave Merzig towards Losheim am See (L157). Turn left behind Brotdorf towards Losheim am See (L157). Continue straight at the intersection towards Hausbach/Britten (L374). Turn left behind Britten onto the B268 towards Trier. After about 5 km, turn right towards Greimerath (K139). After 1.5 km, you will reach your destination. From Trier: Leave Trier towards Zerf/Losheim am See (B268). Follow the road for about 25 km (B268). Turn left towards Greimerath (K1349). After 1.5 km, you will reach Greimerath.

Surrounded by forests lies Greimerath, a tranquil place in the Hochwald. In the middle, you will find our restaurant “Greimerather Forst“ and our new guesthouse “Ferienwohnungen Greimerather Forst“. In a completely renovated house, we have created 5 holiday apartments in the spirit of our name - with plenty of wood - for you.
2 apartments (Katzenstirn and Uff'm Knippchen) have a balcony (south view) with garden furniture and a view of the forest and nature. In the two attic apartments, you have a spectacular view over the roofs of Greimerath to the surrounding forests.
The solid real wood furniture gives the rooms a unique feel-good atmosphere. For hiking and cycling, you are ideally located right at the entrance to the dream loop “Greimerather Höhenweg” and only 400m from the bike path that leads directly to the Ruwer-Hochwald bike path.
From Greimerath, you can also explore the surroundings. Excursions to Saarburg, Trier (the oldest city in Germany with a beautiful cathedral) or the nearby Losheim reservoir are very worthwhile. The Saarschleife in Mettlach invites you to linger, as do numerous Saar and Mosel winemakers. But you can also reach international metropolises like Luxembourg or Strasbourg in 1-2 hours.
