Guests have approximately 120 sqm available in the house on 2 floors.
The ground floor is almost barrier-free, as it can also be accessed via a small elevator. There is a kitchen with dining area, a living room, a bedroom with a French bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), and a bathroom. The shower is level access and can be easily used with a walker, as it has a width of 1.20 meters.
On the upper floor, there is another bathroom and 3 bedrooms. One of them is a single room, another has a French bed, and the third bedroom has a large double bed with two single mattresses of 90 x 200 cm.
All rooms have been lovingly and comfortably furnished by us and invite up to 7 guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday. It is also possible to rent only the lower floor for 2 persons (and one child up to 15 years).
Our holiday home is a non-smoking house. However, smoking is allowed in the garden or in the seating area in front of the house.
And please understand that we cannot accommodate pets.
The Wallhausen Cultural Path runs directly past the house, which is part of the beautiful and varied Vital Tour “Stone, Wine, and Color.” Thus, you can start a great hike directly from the house. And if you enjoy swimming: the community's heated outdoor pool is just a 5-minute walk away.

The ecologically renovated holiday home
Our listed holiday home is located in the 1000-year-old wine village of Wallhausen. The small village is situated in the beautiful Nahe region, not far from the towns of Bad Kreuznach and Bingen in Rhineland-Palatinate. Surrounded by vineyards, forests, and meadows, it is the perfect place to relax from everyday stress and an ideal starting point for many wonderful hikes and excursions. The house was built in the 17th century as a farmhouse. It stands in the middle of the old village center and is just a stone's throw from Wallhausen Castle, which also gave the house its name.
We have lovingly renovated the half-timbered house with great care and ecological considerations and converted it into a holiday home. We placed great emphasis on using natural building materials, materials, and colors. For example, the old wooden floors and the half-timbered beams were treated only with organic oils, and all walls were newly insulated and plastered by hand with the natural building material clay. The result is a true gem. With its nearly 400 years, the house offers its guests a lot of flair and coziness in all rooms, a great kitchen, spacious bathrooms, and an almost barrier-free ground floor. The special flair also includes creaking floorboards, few right angles, sometimes sloping floors, and varying ceiling heights corresponding to the construction period in the individual rooms.
If you book the holiday home completely, it offers a cozy home for up to 7 people. Or you can rent only the ground floor. Then 2 persons and one child up to 12 years will find enough space for an unforgettable stay.
Winter Break:
In the months of December, January, and February, we take a winter break and prepare the holiday home for the new season.
In January and February, however, weekly bookings are possible in consultation with us.
