Country House Grimburg

Our country house is located in a quiet edge of the village in the charming Grimburg, a place with about 500 inhabitants.

Surrounded by the beech and spruce forests of the Hochwald, you can choose between our holiday apartment on the 1st floor or our holiday apartment on the ground floor to enjoy your well-deserved vacation.
Our ground floor apartment is accessible without any barriers, and there are no stairs, steps, or other obstacles in the apartment.
This makes the apartment suitable for people with disabilities.

The garden with terrace, which is accessible for both apartments, is also barrier-free.

Start hiking on the Saar-Hunsrück Trail or the dream loops in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. Discover untouched forests in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. Cycle on the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path along the route of the former railway from Hermeskeil to Trier.
Or discover romantic towns and beautiful landscapes along the Moselle, Saar, Nahe, and Rhine on day trips – the excellent connection to the A1 offers many options...
There is a spacious parking area available at both the front and back of the house for the apartments.
A newly installed photovoltaic system and a new connected heat pump heating system serve our own energy and heat supply and contribute to sustainability.
Both holiday apartments have been completely renovated, with the apartment on the first floor completed in August 2020 and the ground floor apartment completed in September 2023.
Both apartments are furnished in a modern country house style.

WiFi is available throughout the house.
Upon your arrival, freshly made beds and hand and shower towels for the number of guests will be ready for you.
At the back of the house, you will find a large garden with a terrace overlooking nature...
A large aluminum table with 6 garden chairs, a sun umbrella, various grills (wood, gas, table) and 2 aluminum loungers are stored in a separate cellar room for your direct access and can be used at any time.
In this room, you can also securely store bicycles and e-bikes.
A wooden bench and a Hollywood swing, as well as various play options, complete our offer for the use of the garden and terrace.
Bringing pets is possible upon request (price 5,- Euro/dog/day)
