Hinzerath is located 6 km from Morbach and 1 km from the Hunsrückhöhenstraße (B327). At the intersection of B327/B50, turn right coming from Trier or left coming from Koblenz, follow the L159 until approximately the town center and turn right into the street "Auf der Porth".

Our guesthouse is located in the town center of Hinzerath, the sunny spot of the Hunsrück, about 7 km from Morbach.

For hiking enthusiasts, it is ideally situated: The 8 km long dream loop of the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig "LandZeitTour" passes right by the house. Larger and smaller hiking trails can be quickly reached from Hinzerath. We are also happy to take you to the nearest hiking trail or pick you up there. The Ausoniusweg and the Hunsrück Jakobsweg also pass by our guesthouse. Even cyclists will find their joy here, as the "Hunsrück Cycle Path" runs through Hinzerath.

Motorcyclists have a lot of fun around Hinzerath; the winding route to Bernkastel-Kues is always popular. To explore the Hunsrück by motorcycle, we are perfectly located in the middle, towards Trier, Koblenz (Deutsches Eck), Idar Oberstein, and the beautiful Moselle (Cochem, Zell, etc.), making it worthwhile for a day trip by motorcycle and then staying overnight in Hinzerath.

Even if you do not want to spend your time actively, many sights nearby are waiting to be explored by you. Our house offers you overnight accommodation and breakfast, and we are happy to prepare dinner for you as well. In the summer months, our barbecue evenings are a successful end to the day.
