Welcome to Spreitzer's Holiday House,
the child- and family-friendly holiday home at the foot of the Wildenburg, the gateway to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, situated between the Nahe and Moselle rivers with many attractive leisure opportunities.
No noise from the resident above you, no loud music from below. You will have the entire 115 m² holiday house to yourself. Here you can relax and enjoy the peace.
Our house in Kempfeld was built in 1920 and completely renovated in 2020 with much love and grateful support from our friends, turning it into a holiday home.
It accommodates 4 people and is equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant vacation. Our holiday house is located in the region of the German Gemstone Route, a themed road approximately 50 km long that connects towns and landscapes shaped by gemstone processing and extraction.
Along the route, many small businesses invite you to visit and purchase. There are also small museums and mining tunnels where agate was extracted.
The region of the German Gemstone Route is especially focused on hiking tourism.
The Saar-Hunsrück Trail runs through large parts of it.
In Idar-Oberstein, there is a hiking trail about 10 km long, awarded as a dream loop, called the Nahe Rock Trail.
In Hintertiefenbach, the approximately 20 km long Copper-Jasper Path begins.
Around the municipality of Herrstein, the approximately 9 km long Medieval Path runs, which was awarded as Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in 2010.
Along the Steinbach Dam, the Köhler Path crosses the municipalities of Sensweiler and Langweiler (near Idar-Oberstein).
In Veitsrodt, there is a hiking trail called the Stone Guestbook, where prominent visitors of the Gemstone Route have left their mark.
The forested surroundings offer many opportunities for further sporting activities such as cycling, hiking, jogging, and swimming.
