Waldhaus am Baybachtal

Nestled in the beautiful low mountain landscape of the Hunsrück, between the Rhine and Moselle valleys, lies the Steffenshof on the edge of the wild romantic Baybach Gorge.

Less than 20 minutes from the highway but more than 1,000 hours away from the noise and hustle of our civilization, peace and relaxation can be found here. As there is no through road, only a few hikers occasionally pass through this small spot instead of cars. With 90 experience points, the dream loop 'Baybach Gorge' is one of the most highly awarded hiking trails in Germany and leads directly past our house.

In addition to a holiday apartment, an apartment, and seminar rooms, we also offer many opportunities for relaxation. This includes a hairdresser, Shiatsu treatments, and a sauna in the outbuilding that you can use for an additional fee. Surrounded by a variety of award-winning hiking trails, you can experience nature on foot or by bike.

Directions:
A61 exit Emmelshausen, Pfalzfeld or Laudert, direction Hunsrückhöhenstraße, Kastellaun, turn in Gödenroth towards Burgen
through Beltheim towards Dommerhausen, after about 2 KM turn right towards Steffenshof, our house is immediately after the chapel on the right.
If you are driving along the Moselle, you need to turn onto L 205 in Burgen towards Kastellaun/Beltheim, after passing Dorweiler, turn left after about 2 km towards Steffenshof.

Please let us know your arrival time for the key handover in advance! You can check in between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On the day of departure, the apartment should be vacated by 11:00 AM.
