Charity Hiking: An Idea that Captures the Spirit of the Times.
24 Hours of Rhineland-Palatinate on June 12. / 13, 2027
In the charity hike “24 Hours of Rhineland-Palatinate”, “people like you and me” can safely push their limits. Experienced athletes should feel just as addressed as athletic amateurs who want to surpass themselves.
It is important: Here, everyone is a winner in their own right!
The 24-hour hike is not a timed competition, but a personal challenge – combined with the feeling of achieving something special, pushing one's individual boundaries, and doing something good.
The entry fee for participation is 25 euros, and we ask you for a donation. This minimum donation is 1 euro per kilometer. With 3 loops of about 72 km in length, at least 72 euros per person will be donated. Since almost all costs of the event are covered by sponsors, the donations go directly to Rhineland-Palatinate aid organizations without deductions.
The sporting goal is always to have boundary experiences in a group of like-minded individuals. With its wide range of offerings, the hiking event appeals to people of all ages. At the same time, events of this magnitude ensure nationwide attention for the Hunsrück tourism region.
The proceeds from donations of at least 72 euros per participant – with a minimum donation of 1 euro per kilometer and person – will therefore go 1:1 to the supported children's aid organizations.
