For the 26th time, the International Gemstone Fair will take place, a special mineral and fossil fair focusing on agates, petrified wood, fossils, gemstones, and quartz minerals.
The Gemstone Fair will be held on the weekend of March 1, 2027. In terms of its configuration and size, the fair is unique worldwide and has received an overwhelmingly positive response from collectors, exhibitors, and visitors. Every year, many of the most renowned collectors and enthusiasts from around the world come to participate in the event.
The multipurpose hall and the large sports hall in Niederwörresbach near Idar-Oberstein are the ideally located venue. Niederwörresbach is situated in the Fischbachtal directly on the German Gemstone Road. In this well-known agate and gemstone region, collectors can pursue their hobby and visit numerous mineral sites, and there are also several museums and visitor mines. There are 400 free parking spaces available around the halls. During the event, the Juchem butcher shop will offer spit-roasted meat and other delicious Hunsrück specialties in a festival tent.
