On October 4th, the district town of Simmern welcomes its guests and citizens to the autumn market "Pumpkin, Krumbeere, and Cabbage" under the motto "Maje, gucke, kaafe" and to the annual city festival of the Simmern Attraktiv business association.
From the Schlossplatz to the Kandelaber and the fruit market to the Schinderhannesplatz, the city festival invites visitors to enjoy the autumn in the district town.
Starting at 11:00 AM, the market around the Schinderhannes tower opens its gates and offers regional products for every taste. Whether potatoes, apples, or autumn decorations, honey or jam, natural fibers, oils, or soaps. There is something for everyone, and the shops in the town invite you to a Sunday of extended shopping starting at 1:00 PM.
Of course, culinary delights are not neglected. Regional specialties made from seasonal products await their customers. Whether savory or sweet... there will be no wishes left unfulfilled.
In the city center, the shops will be open from 1:00 PM, and an attractive supporting program offers something for everyone.
