The beaver is an extraordinary builder of nature and changes entire landscapes with its activities. During this guided experience hike, participants will learn how the beaver lives, what traces it leaves behind, and what impact it has on its habitat.
Together with certified nature and landscape guide Silke Heinen, we will explore along the Nahe River. Typical beaver traces will be examined, and the significance of the beaver for other animals and plants will be explained.
The event is designed as a family-friendly nature experience. A sighting of a beaver cannot be guaranteed; the focus is on tracking and discovering its habitat.
