Christmas evening walk with a visit to the Felsenkirche, the Lyrikpfad, and hearty " Gefillte Klees " meal.
A very special experience in collaboration with the local gastronomy is offered by the Tourist Info EdelSteinLand Idar-Oberstein on the Advent Saturdays:
On all four Saturdays, an evening hike will be offered starting at 5:00 PM from the Obersteiner Marktplatz over the Lyrikpfad with a guided tour of the Felsenkirche. During the walk in the dark, you can expect many remarkable impressions.
The leader of the evening tour is the experienced tour guide Jörg Staiber, who also wrote the play " Felsenkirche 1926 " performed with great success this year. You will learn not only a lot of unknown, interesting, and entertaining facts about the church illuminated at night. The elaborately restored organ will also sound again. Singing along to the Christmas melodies is explicitly encouraged. As a conclusion, there will be a hearty " Gefillte Klees " meal in the restaurant Alte Kanzlei after a lantern walk over the rest of the Lyrikweg.

Duration about two hours. The tours take place in any weather. The interior of the church is not heated, so please wear appropriate clothing.
