When the lights outside come on and everyday life slows down, a fixed moment of the pre-Christmas season begins for many: "Christmas Moments." For almost three decades, the concerts have been an integral part of the Advent season for thousands of visitors – an evening that touches, connects, and sets the mood for Christmas.
In 2026, the concert series by bandleader and producer Thomas Schwab will embark on its 29th tour. After the sold-out 2025 season, the ensemble is carefully developing the successful show further while remaining true to what makes "Christmas Moments" so special: great voices, moving stories, and music that hits right in the heart.
"Christmas Moments" is more than just a concert. It is an atmospheric overall experience of heartfelt ballads, international Christmas classics, gospel, pop, and emotional moments that resonate long after – an evening that invites reflection while being full of energy and joy of life.
With top-notch soloists, an excellent live band, and a captivating light and video presentation, a show is created year after year that takes the audience on a musical journey through the Christmas season and enchants them.
In 2026, the proven and charismatic soloists will also be back, including veteran David Moore, who has been a staple of "Christmas Moments" for 24 years, Mannheim soul singer Dominik Steegmüller, and Emily Valerius, known from "The Voice Kids." They will be accompanied by a powerful band with Thomas Schwab on piano, Andreas Steffens/Carlos Wagner on saxophone, Sören Jordan on guitar, Jürgen Kochler on bass, and Marcel Millot on drums. The ensemble is rounded off by the Christmas angel and audience favorite Freudinand, who ensures those special moments between contemplation and a wink of lightness.
2026 is more than just another tour: it is also the kickoff towards a special anniversary – because in 2027, "Christmas Moments" will celebrate its 30th anniversary.

More information
After 30 years, a comprehensive renovation of the ZAP is planned for the upcoming season. With generous support from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the city of Emmelshausen is investing approximately €4,500,000 in its town hall.
The situation in the construction market, a shortage of skilled workers, supply bottlenecks, and other uncertainties make planning quite challenging for us. However, we would only have had a secure plan if we had taken a break for 2-3 years, as we are already planning for the year 2025.
Therefore, we have decided to continue normally and to adapt as needed. As soon as we know more, it will be announced here. So: Always check the homepage before the appointment.
We will also strive to provide you with an equally beautiful stage experience as in the ZAP at the new locations. But: not every fool is the same, and neither is every hall. The seating plan may not always fit exactly, so we ask for your understanding if it is not exactly the booked seat. Unfortunately, we cannot offer grandstands in the alternative halls.
But together we will get through this. We have already mastered quite different challenges in the last three years.
We look forward to the 24/25 season.
