Dennis Wittberg and the Schellack Soloists

Just Dreamed – An Evening with the Schellack Soloists
20s Meet Hits of the New German Wave

With a very special program mix, the Schellack Soloists around Dennis Wittberg present themselves for the year's end on Tuesday, 29.12., 8:00 PM in the Loge at the Haus des Gastes. The ten-member ensemble brings together the world-famous evergreens of the 20s with the hits of the New German Wave from the 70s and 80s under the motto “Just Dreamed – An Evening to Be Happy, but of course”.

The mix with a lot of flair offers the entertainer and master of ceremonies Wittberg as well as his orchestra the opportunity to pull out all the stops: All songs swing, foxtrot, sway in tango rhythm, and waltz into the ear canals. Fine humor is cultivated at a high musical level.

The Schellack Soloists have been celebrating musical wit live on many stages since 2003, as well as in numerous television appearances, showcasing pointed stylistic confidence in tails and a slightly cool charm, and have dedicated themselves to the cheeky and profound repertoire of the 20s. They also look beyond the horizon and discover kindred spirits in some titles of the New German Wave.

The audience can look forward to the new arrangements by Martin S. Schmidt, Jens Hunstein, and Jörg Walter Gerlach, which give the musical evening with vocals, piano, percussion, trumpets, trombones, saxophone, and violin an unmistakable flair.

Tickets cost €29,--, with guest card €26,--. They are available at the tourist information in the Haus des Gastes, Kurhausstraße 22-24 (at the thermal bath) or online at www.ticket-regional.de.

On Saturday, December 29, 2026, at 8:00 PM, entertainer Denis Wittberg and his nine Schellack soloists promise an evening of wit, charm, and a lot of feeling at the House of Guests. “Just Dreamed - An Evening to Be Happy” is the program in which Wittberg dives into the hit worlds of the first half of the 20th century, but spans a wide musical arc. Ironically, cheekily, and confidently with style, he interprets evergreens that evoke longing and awaken memories.
