When darkness falls, the perception of the landscape changes. During this special winter hike around Eckersweiler, the focus is not on seeing, but on consciously perceiving the nocturnal surroundings.
Together with DVV hiking guide Peter Bohr, we will walk a light route of about 4 km through the darkness. Without artificial light sources, the eyes can adjust to the night and the ears can perceive sounds that are easily overlooked in everyday life. This creates a very special atmosphere in which the winter nature can be experienced in an unusual way.
The night hike is suitable for everyone who enjoys hiking and wants to experience nature from a different perspective. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
Important: To preserve the natural perception and the tranquility of the night, flashlights and mobile phones are not allowed during the hike. Dogs cannot participate.
