Nikolaus Market - Christmas Market at the Historical Eiermarkt

The Kreuznach Christmas market is atmospheric around the historic Eiermarkt in the medieval town center of Bad Kreuznach. Artisan shops, gift ideas, delicious food, mulled wine and other drinks, children's programs, music, and church offerings provide a diverse program.

The Eiermarkt and the Nikolauskirche are the center of the medieval town. Here, the historic townscape has been preserved. Around the Nikolauskirche and on the marketplace lined with centuries-old half-timbered houses, the Christmas market village invites you to linger. The traditional Advent market around the Nikolauskirche (Bad Kreuznach's oldest sacred building) offers numerous sales and food stalls in a festive atmosphere. Among them are art and gift items of all kinds. A highlight – not just for our little visitors – is the large Christmas crib. Numerous activities for children take place in the Christmas tent on Poststraße (next to the children's carousel). Daily puppet theater with fairy tale plays is offered. In the Nikolauskirche, devotions and meditations with music prepare for the celebration of the birth of Christ.
