This guided photo tour is dedicated to the special atmosphere of autumn in the Baumholder city forest. Selected sections of the Traumschleife Bärenbachpfad focus on mushrooms, mosses, and autumnal forest landscapes. Moisture, subdued light, and warm colors provide ideal conditions for atmospheric macro and detail shots.
Accompanied by certified DWV hiking guide and nature photographer Christian Dübbers, participants will learn to consciously perceive and photograph typical autumn motifs. Topics will include handling shallow depth of field, composition close to the ground, the deliberate use of light, and camera or smartphone settings for macro photography.
The tour is aimed at beginners and nature-interested hobby photographers. Photography can be done with either a DSLR or system camera, as well as with smartphones, provided that appropriate manual or pro functions are available. The route will be walked at a leisurely pace, with numerous photo stops at particularly picturesque spots.
