Soonwald Experience Day 2026 – Experience Nature with All Senses
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Soonwald Experience Day invites you to a day full of experiences for the whole family from 10 AM to 6 PM around the Soonwald Forest Experience Center in Schöneberg. Under the motto "Experience, Discover, and Enjoy Nature," visitors can expect a diverse program featuring exciting experience tours, hands-on activities, mountain biking offers, regional exhibitors, and culinary specialties.
A special highlight is the two event stages: This year, RPR1 moderator Thomas Stüber will host the program on the main stage, providing excellent entertainment alongside artists, musicians, and guests. On the children's stage, songwriters, puppet theater, interactive artists, and a varied family program will delight the youngest visitors.
In addition, walking acts and numerous interactive offerings will create unforgettable experiences for both young and old. The large regional market with around 100 exhibitors presents a colorful variety from the region, featuring information, crafts, enjoyment, and nature experiences.
The Soonwald Experience Day combines nature, movement, entertainment, and regionality into a unique family festival in the heart of the Soonwald.
The event is organized by the Langenlonsheim-Stromberg Association Community in cooperation with the State Forests of Rhineland-Palatinate. The event is the largest German Forest Day.
A paved path leads through the festival grounds, making the event at least partially accessible. Ample parking is available; please follow the instructions of the traffic cadets.
