Autumn Treasures of Nature – Discovering Fruits, Seeds, and Roots
On Friday, October 9, 2026, we invite families and nature-loving children aged 7 and up to an autumn-themed holiday program around Heimbach. Four-legged friends are also warmly welcome.
Nature offers us a rich variety of edible and medicinal plant parts – from fruits to seeds to roots. Especially in the colorful autumn, these natural treasures can be discovered, collected, and utilized in abundance. Together with the herbal witch Vanessa, we will take a little walk and get to know the world of autumn plants. Both young and old will learn interesting facts about their use for enjoyment and health.
In the subsequent, engaging workshop, we will create a natural remedy for our own home pharmacy. All participants will, of course, receive a script with all the information and the recipe for later reference.
