The Sevenicher Farmers' Mill
A brightly painted gable of a house glimmers through the foliage on the left bank, as we stand before the former Sevenicher Farmers' Mill. The house, along with the surrounding meadow and a fish pond, is in impeccable condition. It leads us to suspect that stressed individuals often seek and likely find peace and relaxation here.
And then we step into the most fascinating and romantic part of the Baybach Valley. The valley narrows, leaving barely enough room for a narrow footpath beside the stream.
Dizzily steep, rugged rock walls, estimated to rise up to 50 meters high, line our hiking path, which leads to dizzying heights. Mighty rocks like the Kleine Rabenley, the Barreterley, the Schiffchenley, and a number of nameless stone slopes make the valley a primeval, wild-romantic landscape that almost exhibits alpine features.
