The Weins-Antone Mill, also known as Reitzenmühle
Just 15 minutes after the Sevenicher Oil Mill, further down the stream stood the Weins-Antone Mill, which, based on the remaining foundations, was quite an extensive property. One can still see an archway that led from the house to the outside. A fallen spruce has laid itself over the walls, the stones are thickly moss-covered, and hardly a sunbeam penetrates this dark, gloomy place. As the name suggests, it was an Anton Wein who came from the Weinsmühle located further downstream and married in here. According to the tales of old people, it must have been a very poor family that could not maintain the milling operation for long. No wonder, as how would customers find their way to such a remote place? The building material of the little mill was sold for demolition.
