The Argenthaler Waldsee is an idyllic, natural swimming area located in the Soonwald in Vorderhunsrück and is considered one of the most beautiful in the low mountain range. The lake, which is approximately 0.8 hectares in size, was formed from a historical ore mine and offers a shallow non-swimmer zone – perfect for families with children. Surrounded by hiking trails such as the Geo Experience Trail, it invites relaxation, hiking, and lingering.
The Waldsee inn with its outdoor terrace invites you to linger with food and drinks and a wonderful view of the lake.
Dogs, grilling, boats, and stand-up paddling are not allowed!
