Motorway Church "Old Fortified Church"

Between Hunsrück and the Hessian hill country, the Protestant motorway church Waldlaubersheim offers travelers the opportunity to find a few minutes of contemplative peace away from the heavy traffic flow. Young in years as a motorway church, the sacred building can look back on a long history as a village church. Its architectural biography dates back to the 12th century. The three-story tower from this time still exists, while the distinctive Gothic tower helmet is of a more recent date (second half of the 15th century).
