Under and over, through and up. Wading knee-deep through mud, climbing along a rope through the flowing Nahe, water up to the thighs, barefoot over sand, stones, meadows, and bark mulch, all while wearing a relaxed smile. Exploring nature barefoot is different, adventurous, varied, exciting, and informative at the same time. The circular path leads over a skill course and various surfaces along the Nahe.
After a break at one of the picnic spots along the circular path, you can return to the starting point via a suspension bridge or by boat. Along the way, you wander through 300 million years of Earth history. Signs provide information about the geological features of the animal and plant world.
Highlights: pedestrian suspension bridge, ford, boat crossing. Lockers (€1) for shoes, etc., as well as a foot washing station and snack bar at the entrance.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed along the entire route.
