The "Beurener Waldrunde" takes you approximately 11.4 km through the Beuren/Hochwald state forest, which belongs to the Hochwald Forestry Office based in Dhronecken.

The circular hiking trail leads you to the "Graue Eltz," a quartzite rock formation typical of the Hochwald. Brave guests can climb the rock and enjoy the view over the treetops.

Continue your path along the "Sites of Inhumanity" of the SS Special Camp/KZ Hinzert memorial. Learn about the history of the former concentration camp from the information boards set up here.
