The TuS Tiefenstein operates the only campsite in Idar-Oberstein. The small family-friendly facility is open from May to October and beyond by arrangement. The site is idyllically located at the edge of the forest, has approximately 25 pitches, and offers a high recreational value for little money.
The district of Tiefenstein is located at the northwestern end of the gemstone and jewelry city, and it is about 6 kilometers to the Nahe cycle path in the district of Oberstein. The Saar-Hunsrück Trail - one of the highest-rated long-distance hiking trails in Germany - passes by the campsite at a short distance.
