The small chapel was established through a donation and was restored by the Fathers from Ravengiersburg after its decline in the 17th century to house hermits. Every year on the feast day of the patron saint Anna, on July 26, a holy mass is held here.
The unplastered schist stone building, in the style of a hall church with a three-sided closure, still houses the original altar. On display is a painted copy by the Spanish painter Esteban Murillo: Saint Anna instructs Mary in reading.
