Cultural Historical Museum

The core of the museum is based on the collection of the Hunsrück Museum in Simmern. It was significantly expanded due to the willingness of the Hunsrück population to provide the museum with objects of historical village culture for exhibition purposes. The residential and agricultural buildings that house the museum belong to the local community of Neuerkirch.

After a three-year preparation phase, the Cultural Historical Museum was opened to the public in June 1989. The aim of the museum is to document agricultural tools and machines, old craft professions and their products, and the village living culture of past times.

Open from April to October, Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM and by appointment.
