Deutsche Eck Cycling Tour

Starting from Emmelshausen, we first take the Schinderhannes-Untermosel cycle path over the Hunsrück heights, then descend rapidly into the Moselle valley towards Burgen. From here to Koblenz, we are accompanied by the Moselle cycle path, passing beautiful wine towns directly to the 'Deutsche Eck' where the Rhine and Moselle converge (53 km). From there, you can take a boat to Boppard or continue cycling along the Rhine cycle path to Boppard (22 km). In Boppard, the Hunsrückbahn starts, saving you the steep climb back to Emmelshausen through 5 tunnels and over two viaducts.
