The Dream Loop connects the themed hiking trails "Wind Path" and "Mineral Experience Trail" along nature-friendly paths.
By incorporating existing wind turbines, this premium hiking trail is unique among the total of 114 Dream Loops. The trail, which leads through the Haardtwald located north of Thalfang, connects the themed hiking trails Hunsrück Wind Path & Mineral Water Experience Trail. At 12 experience stations, the themes of wind, wind power, climate protection, and geology are presented to hikers in an engaging and informative manner. Along nature-friendly paths, hikers can enjoy the unique landscape alongside the natural monuments "Berger Wacken" and the "Haardtwald Spring".
The circular route is family-friendly, although not suitable for strollers. Steeper inclines are the exception.

Due to extensive construction measures for the "Repowering of Wind Turbines in Berglicht", there will be disruptions and closures or rerouting of the routes on the "Dream Loop Wind Water Wacken" as well as on the themed hiking trail "Hunsrücker Windweg" until further notice.
Relevant information regarding rerouting and closures will be placed at the starting points.
