Frau Holle
An impressive rock face, in whose crevices, according to a German folk belief, the eyes of Frau Holle are said to be visible. Here is the start and end of the fairytale hike through a diverse landscape of the Black Forest high woods. A special highlight of this circular route is a beaver dam with a beaver lodge. It is an impressive experience to observe the work of this protected species. In between, you will cross streams or hike through ancient forests of the high woods. The path has been rated with 76 experience points by the German Hiking Institute.
