Evangelical Church Rheinböllen

Medieval village church, first mentioned in 1332.

The earliest mention of the medieval church dates back to the year 1332, with the squat tower at least originating from that era in its foundation. From around 1575 to 1845, the cemetery was located around the church. The building was engulfed in flames due to US artillery fire in March 1945, with only the surrounding walls remaining intact. The reconstruction took more than three years.
