Fishing in Nahe and Alsenz

The natural banks of the Nahe are an angler's paradise. In the romantic, sometimes fast, sometimes slow flowing and also still waters. Eel, bream, perch, pike, carp, zander, catfish, waller, tench, asp, brook trout, grayling, rainbow trout, barbel, chub, hazel, nase, char, and lake char find their habitat here and delight the hearts of anglers. The 16-kilometer long fishing area is managed by the Nahe Angling Club and the Bad Münster am Stein Fishing Nature Conservation Association. The fishing rights on the Alsenz River are held by the Altenbamberg Angling Club over a stretch of 6.3 kilometers.
