Flowtrail Stromberg/Schindeldorf

The Flowtrail in Stromberg offers pure riding fun for all friends of well-groomed trail surfing, from touring bikers to freeriders. There is also a practice course where you can get accustomed to all elements of the trail.

With the parking fees collected here, you contribute to the infrastructural development around the Flowtrail, support
mountain biking and the preservation of hiking trails in the region.

For a good coexistence with other forest visitors, please adhere to the following code of conduct:
Use the forest toilets - Please park ONLY in the designated parking spaces - Do not overnight in the parking lots or along the hiking trails -
Take everything back with you that you brought - Do not leave any waste in the forest or in the parking lots. 

Steep descents and fast jumps

The attractive Flowtrail leads through the Stromberg city forest and creates a roller coaster feeling. It consists of a total of 10 km of finest single trail. The descents and various flat sections are smooth flow trail passages with berms to surf through, small to larger kickers, and pump trails for slightly advanced riders with drops and gaps for the pros.

Pure riding fun for all friends of well-groomed trail surfing, from touring bikers to freeriders. There is also a practice course where you can get accustomed to all elements of the trail. With its approximately 2.5 kilometers in length, the Wild Hog Trail descends about 200 meters over berms, kickers, shores, gaps, and drops. To ensure that everyone from touring bikers to freeriders gets their money's worth, blue, red, and black variants have been created and appropriately marked. Experienced riders will find a real challenge with guaranteed fun on the second descent, the “No Jokes Trail.”

Parking :
If arriving by car, please park in one of the approved parking areas. These are the parking spaces marked on the map. see Arrival

Please keep an aisle clear for emergency vehicles in parking lot P3 so that help can be provided as quickly as possible in case of an accident!

Trash :
We take our trash home. Please do not leave anything on the trail or elsewhere!

Nightride :
The trail has only been approved with a lot of goodwill from forestry and hunting. Therefore, we should show appropriate consideration. This means, no nightrides on the trail! Please note our changed opening hours.

Building :
In the winter months, we meet regularly on Saturdays to get the trail back in shape and build new elements. The building dates will be published in our blog and on the Facebook page. Shuttling at No Jokes and Wild Hog is not welcome:
Please do NOT “shuttle”! Under no circumstances through the forest and also not around the village. Only resident parking and footpaths can be found in the area of the start! Stress is pre-programmed! You can ride or push the forest path directly next to No Jokes to the start (as included in this GPS track), it is very quick and uncomplicated.

Shuttling is also taboo at Wild Hog! Please adhere to the signage!

Recommended equipment:
The protective gear: A helmet is mandatory. Knee and elbow pads are recommended for the red variant. Those riding black must wear protectors.

The bike:
The blue and red variants can also be ridden with a hardtail. However, it can get a bit rough on the rear wheel in sections with roots and stones. A nimble all-mountain/enduro bike feels particularly comfortable here.

The tires:
We have a real forest floor with a certain clay content. When dry, the trail rolls extremely well and can even be ridden easily with a marathon tire. In case of persistent wetness, the trail is closed, as the clay forest floor then softens, becomes very slippery, and the trail suffers greatly. If you happen to “get lost” on the trail in wet conditions, it would be good to have something grippy on. If the trail is closed due to weather conditions, you can see that directly at the beginning of the homepage at the red traffic light.
