A 2 km long circular path leads past the nature conservation area and the forest house through the Baumholder city forest. Along the way, there are many information boards about the forest inhabitants and the forest itself. The nature conservation area offers a special insight into the world of the smallest forest dwellers with an insect hotel, a demonstration beehive, and a bumblebee castle, as well as a nesting hole exhibition.
Perfect for families.
Since the circular path runs along wide forest paths, the educational trail is also easily accessible with a stroller, balance bike, or outdoor wheelchair.
Tip: Borrow an explorer backpack at the tourist information and go on an exploration tour with a magnifying glass, insect vacuum, and cup magnifier!
