German Telephone Museum

The German Telephone Museum houses the history of telephony and telegraphy from the beginnings of electronic communication to the present day. As the largest collection of its kind, it has even been included in the Guinness Book of Records.

Since the devices of each era are functionally connected through contemporary communication facilities, one can spend an afternoon making phone calls here.
Numerous photographs and a film bring the various "telephone eras" back to life and raise awareness of how the telephone has changed our lives.
An original postal coach, which was in use around 1900, and an exhibition of models of historical postal coaches document the arduous time before the telephone.

Dogs on a leash are allowed in the German Telephone Museum.
