About Us

After completing our apprenticeship and journeyman period, we trained as state-certified jewelry and gemstone designers and master goldsmiths at the vocational school for gemstone and jewelry design in Idar-Oberstein.

In October 1993, after finishing our training, I founded my own workshop. Since 1995, my wife Sibylle Delzeit has been working in the workshop with me.

Together or individually, we develop new jewelry ideas and then realize them as unique pieces or small series. In our workshop, two skilled goldsmiths with different design approaches can respond to the ideas and concepts of the customers.

Philosophy

To adorn oneself means to showcase one's individuality, to express a mood of life, or simply to indulge in the pleasure and joy of color, form, and texture.

The most important aspects of our jewelry creation are, on one hand, the people who want to wear our jewelry, and on the other hand, the gemstones that almost all our pieces are designed around. Jewelry wants to be worn and should harmonize with the personality of the wearer, emphasizing or even highlighting it.

From these premises, it follows that only through good advice and support can an individual piece of jewelry be created.

Realizing an Idea

When looking at one of our jewelry pieces, the question often arises as to how its creation came about. Idea, design, and manufacturing are usually the steps involved.

The idea can be inspired by a particularly beautiful gemstone, but also by forms found in nature or architecture. In the design phase, variations in form, color, and size are explored, either through sketches or in a model. After that, proportions and materials are determined, and technical details are resolved. While the artistic creation is at the forefront in the initial steps of idea and design, the manufacturing phase brings the craftsmanship into play. A solid education and a well-equipped workshop ensure high quality in the jewelry pieces.
