Haardtwaldbrunnen

The healing effect of the water from the Haardtwald spring was discovered as early as 1780. However, it was not tapped until 200 years later in 1964.

A report on the use of the water as mineral and healing water, which certified the water's excellent quality and balanced mineralization, was prepared in June 1985.
Since 1990, the Haardtwald spring, captured in the so-called Sauerbrunnen, has been accessible to hikers and visitors and is equipped with a roof.

It is the destination and focal point of the mineral water educational and experience trail from Thalfang, near the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
