Germany's most beautiful hanging rope bridge in the Vorderhunsrück!
The hanging rope bridge Geierlay is 360 m long and 100 m high.
The footpath to the bridge is 1.7 km long. There is no possibility to drive to the bridge by car.
The last restroom facility is located at parking lot 1.
There are numerous hiking options on site, including the Geierlay loop (6.4 km).

Entering the bridge is at your own risk!
The footpath is only 85 cm wide, so strollers should be significantly narrower than 85 cm to allow passing pedestrians. Bicycles must be pushed over the bridge, and dogs must be leashed.
The bridge can withstand wind speeds of over 200 km/h according to static calculations. The wind tension cables ensure a stable position, so it hardly wobbles.
