Wayside cross at the Stone Man

Wayside cross at the Stone Man

Its origin is unknown, as well as the reasons behind it. A plausible assumption is that it could be a border cross. In 1941, the cross was rebuilt by Franz Mallmann. In 1994, the Mallmann family replaced the old decayed cross with a new wooden cross.
