Herzog-Wolfgang-Haus Meisenheim

Built in 1614 as a widow's residence for the Countesses of Zweibrücken. 1825-1827, a neo-Gothic extension by Georg Moller from Darmstadt, serving as the summer residence of the Landgrave couple Friedrich VI (1820-1829) and Elisabeth, an English princess. From 1869 to 1932, it was the seat of the district office of Meisenheim. Today, it houses a therapeutic educational institution of the Kreuznacher Diakonie.
